Ametra has adhered to the Syntec Ingénierie charter for gender diversity since its launch in 2021.
This collective approach aims to evolve the role of women in engineering: signatory companies commit to working on three key issues: attracting women to engineering, retaining female talent, and enabling women to advance their careers.
Our commitments:
The engineering charter for gender diversity includes four main areas of commitment and, for each of them, a detailed list of possible actions.
Each signatory company commits annually to carrying out at least one action per commitment, representing a minimum of four actions per year:
Ametra is one of the historical signatories of the engineering charter for climate and biodiversity initiated by Syntec Ingénierie (2019).
This roadmap, regularly updated, reflects the profession’s commitment to a more sustainable and responsible future.
“Our ambition: Engineering, as a key player involved from the project design phase, possesses the expertise and capacity to provide solutions to these complex challenges and has the essential skills to meet the challenges of the ecological and energy transition.”

Access our Global Compact public profile
Since March 2016, Ametra has adhered to the Global Compact program.
The Global Compact is an initiative launched by the United Nations on July 26, 2000, in New York. Its objective is to encourage entities worldwide (including companies) to adopt a socially responsible attitude based on 10 founding principles grouped into 4 themes: Human Rights, Labor Standards, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.
Commitment to the Global Compact is based on a voluntary signatory process. In this case, the member company commits to making progress on the various themes of the Global Compact and to publishing an annual report called the Communication on Progress (COP), which presents its efforts and the results achieved.
Today, more than 20,000 companies and 5,000 non-profit organizations participate in the Global Compact worldwide. It is therefore the largest sustainable development initiative in the world.

EcoVadis, a world leader in CSR performance assessment, enables “companies to reduce risk, improve, and accelerate positive impact on our planet and society.” EcoVadis conducts an independent assessment based on 21 criteria grouped into four pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement.
The methodology is based on three levels: policies (25%), actions (40%), and reporting & results (35%), supplemented by a 360° watch that integrates reliable external sources to detect incidents, controversies, or positive signals related to the company.
EcoVadis also offers a carbon scorecard, covering the management of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
The reassessment is annual: during its renewal at the end of 2025, the Ametra group is proud to have obtained the Bronze label with an improved score of 68 out of 100, allowing us to remain in the top 35% of evaluated companies.
