The objective of this training is to acquire the knowledge enabling optimal use of measuring devices, specifically by avoiding errors related to improper signal conditioning and erroneous interpretations of measurement results.
At the end of the training, the trainee will be able to:
Understand the main principles of measurement
Use measuring devices
Measure and interpret data
Understand the risk of error
Prerequisites
To effectively follow this training, participants must have:
A solid foundation in electricity and electronics: Understanding of concepts such as voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, frequency, and fundamental laws of electricity (Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's Laws).
Basic notions in mathematics: Knowledge of trigonometric functions, logarithms, and basic statistics.
Familiarity with basic measurement tools: Practical experience with instruments like multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc., is a plus.
Target audience
This course is intended for engineers and technicians working in the field of testing and measurement (in R&D, production, maintenance departments, etc.) who regularly use electronic measuring devices in manual or programmed mode.
