Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the concepts of QAbstractItemModel models and QModelIndex indexes
- Master the creation of models (List, Table, Tree) in read/write mode
- Master filters on models and delegation during data editing
- Develop applications using Qt models
For this training, the prerequisites for participants are:
Strong proficiency in C++: Understanding of basic object-oriented programming concepts (classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism), memory management, pointers, templates and the STL.
Good understanding of Qt and its fundamentals: Proficiency in signals and slots, layouts, widgets and creating simple graphical interfaces with Qt.
Knowledge of design patterns: Understanding of the MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern would be an asset.
