Training objectives

At the end of the training, the trainee will be able to:

Get started with the Scilab software environment
Become familiar with numerical computing and visualisation capabilities
Learn to develop algorithms

Prerequisites

To follow this course effectively, trainees must have:

Mathematics basics: Knowledge of arithmetic operations, basic linear algebra concepts (matrices, vectors), and common mathematical functions (trigonometric, exponential).
Basic logic: Ability to understand and apply logical reasoning to solve problems.
IT literacy: Basic knowledge of an operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux), and the concepts of files, folders and user interfaces.
