Training objectives
At the end of the training, the trainee will be able to:
- Get started with the Xcos environment
- Create dynamic models using the available block
palettes
- Simulate model behavior and analyze
the results
- Build your own block palette
Prerequisites
To follow this training effectively, trainees
must have:
The main prerequisite is to master the Scilab environment
or to have completed the Scilab Fundamentals training. This means
that trainees must have a good understanding of:
Programming basics in Scilab: variables, operators,
functions, control structures, etc.
The Scilab graphical interface: windows, menus, data
manipulation tools.
Basic mathematical concepts: linear algebra, differential
calculus, etc. necessary for modeling dynamic
systems.
